Dr. Jianxiang Huang, Assistant Professor at The University of Hong Kong, used AKL FlowDesigner when he was in Harvard University, and is still in use today.
We present the testimonial he write.

Myself and my group have been using AKL FlowDesigner as a research tool to assess outdoor airflow at urban scale since 2012. FlowDesigner is the most user-friendly, adaptable, and practical CFD software in our experiences. We appreciate the strenuous efforts of AKI in improving user experience, we have also benefited from AKL’s trust-worthy customer support team. For this reason, it is no surprise to see the software being used by academics from the University of Hong Kong, Harvard University, MIT, UC Berkeley, etc. FlowDesigner is of great value to urban planners, architects, and engineers in high-density cities such as Hong Kong, where protection of urban airflow is a priority for air quality and human comfort.
